Earlier this week Joyent hosted the Solaris Family Reunion, an opportunity for many of us who have been involved with Solaris and its various offspring – or who may be so involved in future – to have a few beers with old friends and talk about how an amazing operating system came to be. Some new friends even came away with new inspirations.
