Description

Once we have builds of SmartOS with gcc10 that we can test with, once we (and upstream illumos) are comfortable enough with gcc10, we can switch the default compiler to gcc10.

This feature is dependent on https://www.illumos.org/issues/14421

Raising priority given upstream chatter about 14421 happening.

Upon further review, this feature is NOT dependent on illumos#14421. We should still track it, however.

Multiple runs, including the branch build, are successful thus far. Earlier tests for [https://mnx.atlassian.net/browse/OS-8449|https://mnx.atlassian.net/browse/OS-8449|smart-link] show good results too.
