PPLTDEST(3PROC) Process Control Library Functions PPLTDEST(3PROC)
NAME
Ppltdest - determine PLT destination symbol
LIBRARY
Process Control Library (libproc, -lproc)
SYNOPSIS
#include <libproc.h> const char * Ppltdest(
struct ps_prochandle *P,
uintptr_t addr);
DESCRIPTION
The
Ppltdest() function determines if the address at
addr in the process
handle
P corresponds to an entry in the procedure linkage table (PLT) and
if so, returns a pointer to a null-terminated character string that
contains the symbol's name. The returned pointer is not valid after any
other calls to function in
libproc(3LIB). The
Ppltdest() is also a useful
way to determine if
addr corresponds to an address in the PLT.
RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, the
Ppltdest() returns a pointer to a character
string with the name. Otherwise, NULL is returned.
INTERFACE STABILITY
UncommittedMT-LEVEL See
